Replacement Fascia - 18mm

Our fascia boards are made by two of the leading plastic manufacturers in the UK and Europe, FloPlast and Freefoam. Both of them are backed by industry-leading guarantees and a number of awards and certificates for quality and dependability. Our FloPlast fascia boards are available in the standard white, smooth finish of storm grey, anthracite grey, black and dark grey, as well as woodgrain options of black, anthracite grey, golden oak, rosewood , agate grey and chartwell green.

The outer skins of the Fascia Boards are resistant to climate extremes and prevent moisture from penetrating the core of the board, making them a nearly maintenance-free roofline option. This guarantees that they won't deteriorate through rot or warping like typical timber fascia will, and all these advantages come without the requirement for protective treatments or painting.

Our UPVC Fascia Boards can be moulded, nailed, drilled, and cut just like wood, but unlike wood, they are difficult to ignite and their flame spread is constrained, earning them a Class 2Y fire rating.

Fascia & Soffit Terms Explained

If this is your first time dealing with PVC Fascia systems, you will find the following video to be beneficial as it provides a very basic overview of which pieces of the system belong where as well as an explanation of the main phrases that are used to describe each section.

How Long Does UPVC Fascia Last?

The performance and discoloration of the white fascia boards are covered by a 20-year warranty and the woodgrain and smooth boards have a 10-year guarantee.

How Safe Is PVC Fascia?

According to BS 476-7: 1997, the surface spread of flame rating for our FloPlast fascia boards is Class 2Y. The material does have a tendency to scorch and may crumble when exposed to fire, despite the fact that the spread of flame across PVC's surface is constrained. The Class 1 resistance to fire propagation and Class 1Y resistance to spread of flames specifications are both met by Freefoam fascia boards.

The roof trim system may or may not have a major impact on the overall fire performance of any roof on which it is fitted. It is crucial that the box is firestopped at compartment walls with a proprietary fire stop material where it is traditional to carry the eaves box over, between houses.

How To Measure Fascia Boards

We offer PVC fascia boards that range in width from 150mm (6") to 250mm (10"), but if you need something larger, please get in touch with us. Every one of our UPVC fascia boards come standard in 5m lengths. Watch the video we've included below to learn how to measure your fascia boards!

Installation Of Fascia

To guarantee a stable installation, all Fascia Boards should be fastened to the ends of the rafter using two 65mm Polytop nails spaced 600mm apart horizontally and vertically in line with each other. To accommodate the additional expansion of coloured boards, these mounting centres should be lowered to a maximum distance of 400mm when installing any Woodgrain, Anthracite, or Black boards.

Our Fascia Installation guides have a variety of written instructions and quick videos like the ones above. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your inquiry if you have any additional queries.
