Why Choose Aluminium Guttering?
Aluminium has become one of the most trusted gutter materials for a reason. It combines strength, sustainability, and low maintenance with a neat, high-end look that suits a wide variety of buildings.
Key benefits include:
- Long Service Life: While aluminium gutters have a stated life expectancy of 30 years, many continue to perform for 60 years or more when maintained properly.
- Eco-Friendly: Each gutter is manufactured from 97% recyclable aluminium, helping to reduce environmental impact.
- Protective Coating: Our gutters are coated using ARP’s high-performance polyester powder coating for lasting durability and weather resistance.
- Low Maintenance: Unlike some traditional gutter materials, aluminium doesn't require regular repainting or intensive upkeep.
- Quick Installation: Our aluminium gutter systems are designed for efficient installation, using either a snap-fit jointing system or traditional nut and bolt fixings depending on the range. Both methods provide a secure fit while helping to reduce time and labour on site.

Our aluminium gutters are available in Black and Anthracite Grey as standard, but can also be supplied in any RAL colour on request. Maintenance Made Simple
Maintaining aluminium guttering is easy, especially compared to more traditional materials. To preserve the appearance and performance:
- Clean the system regularly, removing leaves and other debris from the gutters and downpipes.
- Inspect fixings periodically to ensure everything remains securely in place.
- Rinse all visible surfaces annually with clean water to keep the powder coating looking fresh. In coastal or industrial areas, do this every six months instead.
- Act quickly on repairs if any damage is found to prevent more costly issues down the line.
We cover these steps and more in our full Aluminium Gutter Maintenance Guide.
Installation Guidance
The installation process differs slightly between our extruded aluminium gutter and cast aluminium gutter ranges.
ARP’s Sentinel Extruded Aluminium Guttering features a simple but innovative snap-fit jointing system. Its components are simply clipped down into position before they are injected using ARP’s unique Arbosil 3923 sealant and left to cure. Not only does this create a strong long-lasting joint, but the process is also easy and mess-free. Installation must be completed using ARP’s Aluminium Gutter Sealant. For more information on this process, check out our jointing video demonstration.
Cast Aluminium Gutters are designed to emulate the look of traditional cast iron gutters but feature an easy-to-follow installation process, simple enough even for first-time DIY-ers. Take a look at our comprehensive installation guide to find out more about how to fit this high-quality gutter system.
