How long do aluminium gutters last?
Aluminium gutters typically last 30 years as standard, but with proper care, they can remain functional for 60 years or more.
Aluminium Gutter - Pressed Half Round
The Lindab Pressed Aluminium gutter range covers 125mm and 150mm aluminium half round gutters, with round aluminium downpipes in 75mm, 87mm and 100mm. Every downpipe fits both gutter sizes, which keeps ordering simple and means you can change outlet size without re-specifying the gutter. Four colour-matched finishes – Silver Metallic, Anthracite Grey, Black and White – cover the most popular exterior colour schemes. Gutters and downpipes are both supplied in 3m lengths of 0.7mm aluminium, with 0.6mm fittings, and every component is protected by a paint coating.
Can I install aluminium gutters myself?
Yes. Our extruded aluminium systems use a snap-fit jointing process that simplifies installation. Cast aluminium systems are also designed for straightforward fitting and are suitable for DIY users who follow the instructions carefully.
Are aluminium gutters environmentally friendly?
Absolutely. Our gutters are made from 97% recyclable aluminium, making them one of the more sustainable choices available for rainwater management.
What colours are available?
We offer Black and Anthracite Grey as standard. Bespoke RAL colours are also available on request.
Do I need to repaint aluminium gutters?
No, the polyester powder coating is long-lasting and doesn't require repainting. Just rinse the surfaces occasionally to maintain their finish.
What kind of maintenance is required?
Minimal. We recommend occasional cleaning, periodic inspections, and annual rinsing. More frequent maintenance may be required in coastal or industrial areas.
