Our White Half Round Gutter is manufactured by FloPlast, the market leader in the UK.
In recent years white has been a very popular choice of colour for plastic gutter systems.
White Half Round guttering really came to the fore in the 1980’s with the widespread introduction of PVC Windows and Fascia boards. The “wipe-clean” appeal of these gutters and fascia boards together means that the eaves section of any roof can look as new as the day it was installed – a wash down with soapy water once or twice a year is all that is required.
Half round gutters feature a smooth, semi-circular profile that offers excellent water flow and a timeless appearance. Other styles, such as Ogee gutters, have a more decorative design and may provide higher capacity for larger roofs.
Yes, half round gutters are suitable for steep roofs. However, due to the increased volume and speed of rainwater runoff from steeper pitches, it’s important to ensure the system has sufficient capacity. If the roof is exceptionally steep or large, you might want to consider upgrading to high-capacity options like Deepflow gutters or Ogee gutters to handle the increased flow effectively.
Regularly remove leaves and debris from the gutters and round downpipes to prevent blockages and maintain optimal performance.
Yes, FloPlast half round gutters are compatible with various systems, including Hepworth and Polypipe, when using the appropriate adaptors.
