This pack of 32 double socket slip couplings is a cost effective bulk buy for 110mm underground drainage installations. Slip couplings have no central stop, which allows them to be slid along the length of a drainage pipe and manoeuvred into their final position once the pipes are in place.
This makes them ideal for repairing a damaged pipe or for working in a confined space. The damaged section can be cut out, the slip couplings positioned over the sound pipe either side, and then slid into place to make the joints when the new section is lowered in. The fitting works equally well as a standard pipe coupling.
Pipes that have been cut to length should be chamfered and the seal lubricated with our SG100 lubricant to ensure the best possible seal. Buying 110mm slip couplings in bulk reduces the price per fitting and keeps spares to hand on site.
