This pack of 32 double socket couplings is an economical bulk buy for 110mm underground drainage installations. Couplings, sometimes referred to as connectors, are used to join two plain ended pipes together, or to connect a plain ended pipe to the plain end of another fitting.
This coupling has a centre stop, which means it cannot be slid along the pipe, so it is used predominantly when laying new drains. If you are repairing or replacing a section of broken pipe it is easier to use a slip coupling, which has no centre stop and can be slid back into position once the new pipe is in place. Pipes that have been cut to length should always be chamfered and lubricated with our SG100 lubricant before insertion to ensure the best possible seal.
