Our Copper & Zinc gutter ranges are both manufactured by Coppa Gutta, the UK’s leading producer of Copper & Zinc rainwater systems. We stock these systems in various styles including half round, ogee and box section, all three of which can be purchased in two sizes. To top it all off we provide a specialist selection of decorative and ancillary products to complement your installation.

Copper gutters have a very unique appearence compared to the rest of the gutters on our website, especially when factoring in the discolouration process. We reccommend browsing our guides and tips articles to gain more knowledge.

EASY INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE

Copper & Zinc gutters are both easy to install with no specialist tools required. Lengths of gutter can be quickly joined together seamlessly using silicone sealant. These systems do not require any cleaning or decoration and will live out their full lifecycle apart from the rare occasion of debris needing to be removed from the gutter for it to remain at its optimal level of efficiency.

COST EFFECTIVE GUARANTEE

These systems both have a life expectancy of at least 100 years and are both materials that are very competitive over the lifecycle of a property.

UNIQUE AESTHETIC

Our copper gutter systems offer a trait that is unique in comparison to almost all of the other rainwater systems on our website, it’s appearance changes significantly over time if left to age naturally. Within a few weeks, the system will start to mellow and change through various shades of brown and bronze. As the years go by, eventually your copper gutter will have formed into a green/blue colour.

This colour change is a result of the copper material trying to protect itself from the elements. The new systems’ new coat will increase its durability and resistance to corrosion and weathering. This same colour and effect can be seen on The Statue of Liberty in New York.

Zinc has a similar effect but will instead progress through shades of grey and has been documented to eventually turn white when installed near coastal locations.

ECO-FRIENDLY

Your carbon footprint is lowered when you purchase a copper or zinc guttering system. Zinc and copper are both 100% recyclable materials and they are very adaptable guttering and roofing materials.

A unique trait of copper is that the material’s properties itself slightly disinfect water that runs through it and it also acts as a mild algaecide, removing the opportunity for most moss and lichen to grow.
